Spring Newsletter

What another successful term we have had at Park House School.

Although we said goodbye to four members of staff, we welcomed four new staff members to the team  – Ian, Sue, Charley and Natasha, with another three set to join us in the new term –  Vicky, Megan and Robert. Not only did we welcome new staff members, we have also had two new pupils join us, with another young lady set to join us after the half term. We are all looking forward to meeting her.

‘Hope in Action’

One of our pupils is currently collecting food donations to take to the Hope Centre in Peterborough; he has worked extremely hard putting this together and highlighting it to staff. If you would like to give a donation yourself, any non-perishable food will be greatly received. I am sure the pupil would welcome the parents and students taking an interest in what he is doing.

If you would like any further information on this please use the website below to check it out:

Respite & Activity Week

We recently sent home letters regarding respite and Activity Week during the Summer holidays; if we could have your replies back by May 5th we can then start making the necessary plans and arrangements for booking the pupils activities etc.

Reach Week

Once again Reach Week has proven to be a success, with the primary focus being on Mexico. Pupils actively engaged with activities and were able to work with different peer groups and adults across the school. Pupils contributed well to each activity/ challenge they came across.

If you have any ideas of what you think our next REACH week should promote, then please feel free to let us know – all ideas are welcomed.

Sainsburys Vouchers

We are again collecting Sainsburys school vouchers. As the school is so small, every voucher you send in is valued. The closing date for collection is June, so if you could send any that you may have at home, we would greatly appreciate them.

Last but not least, have a great Easter break and we will see the students on Tuesday 25th April. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming term please do not hesitate to contact us
